flohmarkt am naschmarkt.

This one made Ethan and me ache. Home and how to define that has been on our minds throughout the last year here in Vienna. We don't have an answer. But the kitchen towel does!

awesome city creature eating street food.

After the flea market we went to the movies. Part three of one of our favorites!

  1. sigh! I used to live around the corner during my mission and loved spending some early morning time there saturdays before we had district meeting. I should still have some antique nightgown somewhere and my brother took my lodenjacket with him, when he served in austria. Austria is home away from home to me. soemhow. As is Paris and some homes of dear friends.. but then again my parents tore down our very old home during my mission to build a new home on it, which was hard, but now they even sold the new home. Now that is something we really think about alot. One somehow wishes to go back somewhere... to me that is a spot at the river rhine.

  2. OH how I'm homesick for you and Vienna. What charming and wonderful pictures and what an eye you have for interesting things, Mirjam. I was transfixed. You need to do a photography book, and I'm serious. Just the shots of the Naschmarkt would be reason to buy it. Thank you for posting these but it's with a huge lump in my throat I look at them. Sigh. Jeannie
